Creepy things about my neighborhood:
- Dogs live in twos. There are two Scottie dogs, two wiener dogs, two pugs (squee!!!), and two of those dogs that look like big walking mops. And they're always being walked together (the pairs), on leashes with red collars. Kind of like those twins from The Shining, but with less weird and more "awwww, aren't ya something..."
- There is a witch on one of the side streets. And I know for a fact that she's a witch because she stands out on her front walk in her nightgown, with her white witch-y hair hanging down her back, pointing a finger at you as you walk/run by, mumbling something, as if she's cursing you. Lil' Fingers has seen her too. Although Lil' Fingers seems to think she might just be waving and saying hello.
- Raspberry bushes line the trail I run on. So every once in awhile, while I'm running, people will leap out of the bushes covered in
raspberry juiceblood.

Creepy things about my neighborhood:
1) There is a methadone clinic around the corner and right beside it a massage parlor - both have "interesting" clients.
2) Sometimes you can smell KFC blowing in the wind. On "toonie tuesdays" the line sometimes stretches out into the parking lot. Someone needs to remind me if KFC is really that good.
3) When I go for my run in Dundurn Park there is a shirtless man with a pot belly who sits on a park bench who once told me I was "lovely".
- as for the deleted comments - working nights has fried my brain.
Creepy things about Susie's neighborhood:
4) We once saw a giant slug and an opossom sharing the same stretch of sidewalk.
p.s. Would you believe I just noticed the massage parlor?
I didn't know there was a massage parlor! I have something to add: My old tenant has moved across the park.
Yeah, it's on Main, just across from Susie's steet. The window's are currently boarded up as it is frequently vandalized. Technically it's a "mens spa" but they're not fooling anyone.

Yeah I wasn't even talking about the bath house on Main. I was talking about the "aromatherapy" place on King.
oh man, that witch is creepy...and i take back that thing about her just waving hello...she stared at me the other day in such a way that i was convinced she was cursing me.
p.s. i think she cursed adam castelli too...because he has really been choking lately! i am now more of a mookie fan (along with bsb, to finger's dismay)
